We had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel just outside of town. The location was perfect, providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere away from the touristy areas. The staff at the reception desk were extremely helpful and friendly, ensuring we had a great program for our family and assisting with any requests we had. The view of the lake from our room was breathtaking and added to the overall tranquility of our stay. The bar offered a great selection of drinks and the food was delicious. The large bed in our room was incredibly comfortable and the cleanliness of the hotel was impressive.
This place is highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful and quiet stay near the glacier.

I did not like hotel. It did not match advertisement nor web site images and description. It does NOT have... Air conditioning. Daily transfers throughout the day. A good location. Walls are paper thin. 4 star quality. View of Andes mt (view of some trees a sprinkler)
Overall I would have rather stayed at a better location that was relaxing.

The hiking trails near the hotel are really spectacular, perfect for those who love to hike. the breakfast is quite good with a decent variety of options available. the rooms are clean and cozy, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the lake from the window.
The shuttle service provided by the hotel was not very convenient, sometimes very crowded and not frequent enough.

The hotel is more than 2 miles from downtown, on a windy and dusty road. The free shuttle service works every hour from 10 to 12 am and every half an hour from 5 to 10.30 pm. The first room I got was freezing cold for the heate didn't work. It did cost me to convince the receptionist to change the room, and when I was eady to call the Police he finally realized he had a room available. I would expect a *much better* service from a 4* hotel, and really I'd rate it 3*. I stayed there 5 days and the spa was *never* open so I'd choose some other, more reliable hotel if I was looking forward to some massage or spa treatment. The overall experience was positive *only* because I found a very good deal through Booked.net: I would not stay at Rocheter hotel if I had to pay regular fares ... not worth it for me.
Front desk service: better not need any help for booking, excursions, etc., especially from one of the two girls ... she'll plainly tell you that you have to manage by yourself, and give you the phone numbe so you can call from your room, whatever you need. Only the last day she was a bit more co-operative and called to book the shuttle to the airport (but first she gave it a try and told me I should call them from my room ...).

There was a cozy bar on site. Room met standard. Hotel was situated within walking distance Laguna Toro. The location was near everything we wanted to do.
Not one thing.

Had a great Xmas stay at this hotel! Loved the stunning views of the lake and gardens from our room. the shuttle service was a bonus, making it easy to explore the nearby town. the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, offering us vouchers for local excursions. the rooms were cozy and clean, with free Wi-Fi and modern amenities.
The location was a bit of a downside as it was quite far from the center of town, but the shuttle service made up for it. the breakfast could have been better with more variety on offer.

The bed and the view from the room were fantastic.
The hotel was far to far from the town. I got fed up with being told the price in dollars and given the bill in pesos and the staff had no idea of what was going on. Hopeless,

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and competent, always ready to help whenever I needed anything. The hotel facilities were excellent, from the cozy lounge areas to the beautiful backyard with a nice path to the lake and boardwalk. The breakfast was definitely one of the best I had during my trip, with good variety and quality. Additionally, the location was peaceful and had nice views to the lake, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
Hard to think of anything negative to say about this hotel. Everything was perfect, and I had a great time during my stay.

The staff were very helpful.
Before my travel I tried to reach my hotel by phone but the number listed is for the Rochester in Buenos Aires and they could not connect me. I wish the number for the El Calafate hotel was on the website and not just the number for rochester hotels in general.
